This is by H. M. Baagil, M. D.
Just read some of this....I can't believe how they play on words.
M-Muslim talking: Are you sure that the Bible is holy?
C-Christian talking: Yes, I'm very sure about it; it is God's Word.
M-Read what Luke said about his recordings in 1:2 and 3.
C-Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; it seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus.
M-If Luke said that he himself was not an eyewitness and the knowledge he gathered was from eyewitnesses and not as words inspired by God, do you still believe the Bible is God's Word?
C-Maybe only this part is not God's word.
M-History has shown that the Bible suffered changes throughtout the ages. The Revised Standard Version of 1952 and 1971, the New American Standard Bible and the New World Translation of the Holy Scriptures have expunged certain verses retained with the King James Version. Reader's Digest has reduced the Old Testament by fifty percent and the New Testament condensed by about twenty-five percent. Some years ago Christian theologians wanted to "desex: the Bible. Does "holy" mean that the Bible is free from error?
This is just a few things I came across in this book, and I was really shocked. First of all, they or this M.D., must not have read the verses before or after each one they mention....I hope we all know we have to read the whole verse or even the chapter to get the full understanding of what the author is talking about. Now, Luke never met Jesus but was a follower of His. Luke was a close friend of Paul, and went with him to preach and teach the Word of God, so things he wrote about came from what he witnessed through Paul. So if some muslim's didn't witness Prophet Muhammed write the Qu'ran how do they know it came from God or Allah? Sounds like the same to me.......Just my opinion.
Ok ppl, please pay close attention to this one.
They are discussing the Trinity...now either this Christian really didn't read the Word, or they are not a Christian at all, because if you look close enough you will see how this person played on words and tricked this Christian. Tell me if you see what I see....
M- What is the Holy Spirit?
C- The Holy Spirit is the Holy Ghost; and also God, We are taught, the Father is God, the Son is God, the Holy Ghost is God. We are not allowed to say three Gods, but one God.
M- Read Matthew 1:18.
C-"Now the birth of Jesus Christ was on the wise: When as his mother Mary was espoused to Joseph, before they came together, she was found with child of the Holy Ghost."
M- Compare now with Luke 1:26 and 27.
C- "And in the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God unto a city of Galilee, named Nazareth, to a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name was Mary."
M- So in the miraculous birth of Jesus, Matthew mentioned the Holy Ghost and Luke mentioned the angel Gabriel. What is the Holy Ghost then?
C- The Holy Ghost is then the Angel Gabriel.
M- Do you still believe in the Trinity now?
C- Then God is God, the Holy Ghost or the Holy Spirit is the Angel Gabriel, and Jesus is....
M-Let me help you: Jesus is a Prophet, son of Mary.
Now, this Christian did not study word for word, because if he/she did they would have clearly seen that in this verse of Luke, it said that Gabriel visit Mary. It didn't say that He knew her, or overcame her, or anything like that...but did this muslim continue with other verses? Nooooooo, why not? Because he/she would have seen the truth....verse 28 says, And having come in, the angel Said to her, Rejoice, highly favored one, the Lord is with you; blessed are you among women. Verse 35. And the angel answered and said to her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God.
THANK YOU GOD FOR YOUR WORD IS TRUE. We must read and re-read to make sure we are not fooled by others playing on words, or just taking a little and running with it.
Thanks for those who read this, I know it was long, but I wanted to point out a few things I read in this book..............
