Yes, most of the "ten commandments" express basic moral principles. This doesn't mean that they're God-given. Personally, I think Wicca's "Harm None" is a far more elegant expression of fundamental morality. And while "Love Thy Neighbor" gets to the heart of the issue, I don't think it works very well as a commandment.
But I'm veering.
As for your question: I am not trying to hold my wedding in your church, nor asking you to attend. I am certainly not forcing you to marry anyone you don't want to marry, nor preventing you from marrying anyone you do. And so I fail to see how my future marriage -- however much you-the-majority might disapprove of it -- is any of your frelling business, thus rendering the question of "cramming" it down your collective throat moot.
If the question is somehow valid, and it is only my biased perspective and my current frustration which prevents me from seeing it, then my answer is: Equality.
