Hello!
I've never really read the bible or anything but I just got batised this summer so I'm planning to start ! Anyway, a lot of bad stuff happened to me growing up and I kinda gave up on people. You know, started thinking all of humanity is cruel and stupid. I switched over to animals and nature. Animals have so much more compassion then people and the quiet of nature is where i can find peace. Crowds give me the creeps and I have a hard time trusting strangers.
Since getting baptised all the Christians form the youth group have been shuving bibles at me telling me that that fantasy novels are evil and it's wrong to love animals more then people. That they are here for the single purose of being eaten and we can do what we want to them. I don't agree with that! I think that just as we aren't worthy of Christ's but he gave it to us anyway out of love, we aren't worthy of this planet but he gave it to us anyway to protect it and learn from it. After all he did call himself the Sheperd right?
So am I a missguided fool or what?
