"Really Julie, do you honestly think that as an ex-gay man who is combating the idea that
homosexuality is innate, immutable, and unchangeable would even attempt to justify a sin? "
Of course not. However that is the position of some, most likely the fringe groups, in the homosexual community.
Sure, I acknowledge that homosexuals can go straight. Hey, you're living proof of it. There have been a number of other documented cases of homosexual males going straight. Like you said on the thread regarding the ex-gay community, these fringe groups do not want to admit homosexuality is curable. Of course, it would be contrary to their agenda to admit it.
"You seem to think that heterosexuals are a better class of people or don't deal with the same emotions and temptations as gay people. Same temptations but when sex is the temptation different objects. This is basically the only difference between gay and straight. In all other aspects all humans are the same! "
Not better, but different. True, all humans have faults; it's inevitable, regarding our base nature.
"It is not the attraction the Bible labels sin it is how you act upon the attraction that is the sin. Or
do you deny this? And if so back it up with the Bible and not your opinions or some fringe
element remarks about platonic heterosexual relationships."
Tell you what, you can show me where in the Bible it says that homosexuality is an orientation [?] then I'll give you my answer.
