ArchivedCONTRADICTIONS IN THE QURANPeace, You’re making it sound as if I made those statements up. Look, Alpha, all my arguments were based on what your Bible scholars said, so comparing my proofs to the “proofs” of Human evolution is not right. Ok so let’s read what the Bible says: “And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."” (Mark 16: 17-18 ) The verse is clearly telling the Christians, that if you believe, then you will be able to fulfill these signs. Excuse me; I don’t remember basing my arguments on the Qur’an. Let me remind you, it was not my words, but your Bible commentator’s. I too could easily prove your Bible to be wrong from my Qur’an, but the reason that I use the statements from your Bible is that you will be more likely to see my point. That’s right, we shouldn’t judge it by anyone, but when scholars of the Bible, the people who have the most Knowledge on it, admit that there’s no concrete proof that Mark is the author of the Gospel that he supposedly wrote, then there’s a serious problem. Also the doubt doesn’t lie in just Mark, but many of your other Books. Huh! I swear you nearly got me there. What I meant by science in this case is Hypothesis and Theories, not established science. Oh well, at least you tried. 8) No, I would still not believe because of the Bible’s many contradictions, and the alterations made to it. See what I believe is in the Gospel (Injil) of Jesus, what you Christians have is the Gospel of Mark, Luke, John and Mathew. Plus why would I need your Gospel, when I have the Final Testament of Almighty God in my hand. Yes, Allah is forgiving and patient, but forgiveness comes after you repent. If you feel so arrogant that you don’t need to repent, then obviously God is not going to forgive you. Alpha, let me make something clear to you. No where in the Qur’an will you find that God said he would make an everlasting covenant with the Jews. Allah said to the Jews that if they keep their covenant with Him, then he would reward them. But since they broke it, they were cursed for their disobedience. It’s of no fault of God. Why should we be sceptical about the Qur’an? You don’t see different sects in Islam carrying around different versions like many of the Christian sects. No scholars argue on the authenticity of the Qur’an, however, they do debate on a number of Hadith which as you know are separate from the Qur’an. Sure! HQURAN.htm Now, if it seems that I’m taking a while to reply, it is because I’ll be sitting for my finals, and I’m studying at the moment. However, I’ll try to reply at least once a week.
