Dear Friends In Christ.
The habit is worn as sign :: That they have seperated themselves from the things of the world, And an outward sign to all they meet, That this is who they work for, And are grounded in The Lord Jesus Christ,
The order:: Is what the group is called, and then the name of the Order
Order Of The Sisters Of faith:: O.S.F.
The habit is a modest garment, and has not changed much from its inseption, It was the clothing of the day:: and simply remained as very modest clothing, and became the standerd of the particular Order,
Why we wear the Habit:: It draws peope to you and often gives an opertunity to to explain why the life was chosen, And a time to share what Christ is, and what he has done for all of us.
Many are simply happy to speak to you, It brings a smile to many, and in particular to the Nun.
Most women Consecrate their lives in the form of Lifetime Proffessed Vows.
And commit them selves to the particular charism of the order.
Wearing the Habit is a very Spiritual thing, and reminds one of their Love for the Lord,
In love with Jesus all over again each and every day.
And living a life called to Him for His Glory, Such Grace for us. God is so gracious.
A life of Prayer and Charity, In Christ Jesus.
At The Masters Feet and In Prayer for all of you.
