ArchivedJudging & Testing God??The answer to this question will be in context somewhere in this post. When I said God was light Himself, I specifically said(in my original post) at the end of my theory that it was a possibility. I never made any claims like you are making. I simply said, if I can use a logical argument to answer your questions, then there is no contradiction whatsoever. For cant your claims of "corruption" be from a lack of understanding or ignorance? Also, it was you who made up the "cause of light" statement, which the Bible in no way mentions. What you should have said was, "the cause of light for the earth", that way it will be the truth, and it would not sound like a contradiction. This is quite easy to understand: Light was created before the sun, stars, etc. Light is light. Light does not only have to come from the sun and stars. The definition of light is: any device serving as a source of illumination. God does not need any created source to have light. That's light, I mean that's "like" saying, God needs to have a male and female in order to make more humans. Well, how was Adam made in the first place? God can just say "Let there be light" and there is light, just as how you Muslims claim(For the creation of Jesus) God can say, "let there be a man and there is a man." These are the arguments I am making. What I should have initially argued was your "cause of light" statement. God created light before He created the cause of light for the earth. The sun, stars, etc, are specifically for the earth. But that does not mean wthout the sun, stars, etc, there is no such idea as light. Doesn't the Bible already point out that God created the earth in verses 1 and 2, but the earth was without form, and void? Then how do you say there cannot be an earth without land? What do the "layman" know about the things of God? You rely on the wisdom of man to answer godly questions? As 1 Corinthians 2:4-8 says: And my speech and my preaching was not with enticing words of man's wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God. Howbeit we speak wisdom among them that are perfect: yet not the wisdom of this world, nor of the princes of this world, that come to nought: But we speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory. The bottom line ma Lady: No one knows the wisdom of God before the creation of the earth. All of my answers to your questions are not facts, but my opinion. If I can answer your contradictions with logical opinions, then there is no contradiction. It is you however that uses your own wisdom and the wisdom of men to make claims, when in reality, you know nothing. I can't argue against this. The only thing I can say is, there is no such thing as a big blunder when making mistakes with earthly wisdom. A big blunder is if some1 neglects God's sacrifice of His Son. Before I posted that the verse says the stars was incorporated with the lesser light, I knew that it wasn't. I wanted to see if you would make the right response. If you didn't, heck I would win the argument. If you did, then you would fall into one of my traps: As you notice, the verse does not say the stars are incorporated with the lesser light. Then why make the argument that the verse is specifically talking about the moon? You respond with the right answer for a good defense, but your offense (saying the moon is the lesser light) is just as weak as when I posted the stars are involved with the lesser light. "Lesser light" and "Greater light" is not talking about the sun and the moon specifically. It is talking about Light, which I went over earlier on in this post. Whenever you're ready. It is hard to explain how to use it, but you will find out sooner or later probably through trial and error. Anyway, in the mean while, you can use the normal approach. Just type the name of the person you are talking to before you quote them. |
