ArchivedTrinity exists in the OTThat's the thing. You want to feel comfortable with a God you can fully understand. Christianity does not work that way. This is not about being comfortable with "figuring it all out." In the final 2 chapters of Job, God explains to Job that it is not for him to fully understand why and how God does things, but to trust in Him. Also, in Daniel, when Daniel is trying to put the pieces of the puzzle together to understand the final days, God tells him to just go his way. Daniel 12:8-9- And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. I realize when Muslims try to convert people, they always try to explain how their religion is true because Allah is easier to explain than the Father, Son and Holy Ghost being God. But truth does not rely on simplicity. Neither does truth rely on how difficult something is. Truth when it comes to God, relies on the establishment of His revelation before any other revelation comes to place. |
