Let me just start by saying that I am a Christian. I believe in the Lord, Jesus His son, and the Holy ghost.
I have been reading everybody's comments on this topic and for the most part this debate had NOTHING to do with homosexality. It was a fight between Aineo and Mr. Banks as to whose religion was better, and whose has done the most harm. It made me sick. Ridiculous generalities were made on both parts and you both should be ashamed of yourselves.
Regarding Aineo, you made a comment about Muslims and oil wells. That comment was dealt with already but just know that I agree with what the writer said.
As for Mr.Banks, you made a comment about worshipping statues, sleeping with siblings, and murdering. As I stated before I am a christian, and I have never done any of the aforementioned. Make sure you have your facts straight before you make such comments.
I'm not even going to touch that person who made the ignorant comment that the bible is a bunch of fables. He doesn't know my God, but I will pray that he will some day.
Bottom Line: I don't agree with homosexuality. Not because I'm christian and that's what religion tells that I'm supposed to believe, but because it doesn't agree with my God (I hope you can see the difference). Just because I chose not to agree with homosexuality, doesn't mean that every time I come in contact with a homosexual I denouce them as a sinner, and tell them not to talk to me. Hate the sin not the sinner. And I do feel that the ultimate judgement belongs to the Lord. Yes, murders and pedophiles and the like should be removed from our society so that they do not offend anymore, but the final say belongs to the Lord. And I don't think anyone here, including myself, has ANY right to pass judgement one ANYONE.
Furthermore, if you want to look at it scientifically (cuz I know that non-believers like to use science against God), anatomically it just doesn't work. Reproduction can't happen without a sperm and an egg. We can get into a debate about cloning but let's leave that for another day.
Oh ya, I wanted to say something about everybody's interpretation of the bible. I don't understand why everybody has their own interpretation, there should only be one, GOD'S! He's the one who wrote it , if you have any questions, ASK HIM!
Well that's it for now. Thanks for letting me rant.
