ArchivedWhy the Bible is better than the Quran.Peace Lady Fatima, You don't care about what is relevant then. It is likely that this blacksmith and Waraqa influenced Muhammed's views. It's highly UNimaginary that Muhammed wasn't influenced by the the Jews, Christians, Sabeans, and Magians that he met. You'd be surprised, Lady, how much knowledge he could have aquired from conversations with other rligious groups. muhammed likely spent many nights conversing with different with his caravan, he certainly knew many religious groups, and he certainly knew what they believed. I find it very strange that Muhammed the Quran came down over the course of 23 years, plenty of time to of written it! Moses recieved the Torah in just 40 days!! And I have a hard time believeing that Muhammed was illiterate. We was a business man, and a very brilliant person, so I would highly doubt that he was illiterate. I believe he was a good writer, fluent in Arabic. And although a complete Arabic Bible didn't exist, there were various parts of it in circulation. Even other writings, like the Infacny Gospels were quite common. It's obvious that the Quran was influenced by the Infancy Gospels. |
