ArchivedThe Truth About IslamPeace ma Lady, Christianity lays guidelines. Jesus said "Be perfect as your heavely Father is perfect." He knows that we will never be perfect, but we are to strive for perfection. And that includes loving your enemies. By the way you are saying things Fatima, it seems as if Islam teaches you to rely on your feelings. Christianity on the other hand teaches you to restrain from your fleshly desires and rely on your spirit. Is there any spiritual teachings in Islam because God is spirit and he/she who worships God must worship Him in spirit and in truth. To me it looks like Muslims are worshipping God by means of only their flesh. I mean, they HAVE TO pray five times a day because it is their law. Whatever happened to worshipping God in truth according to ones heart? What about me? |
