1} SEEING THE LORD IN THE HEREAFTER
1. christians are taught by the bible that they will not see God almighty, meaning God the father as they refer to Him, but only Jesus Christ in the hereeafter.
This is due to the fact that Chrisatians believe the following:
God is spirit (2 corinthians 3:17, john4:24)
You can not see me for no one may see me and live
(exodus 33:18)
spirits cannot be seen (see luke 24:39) there fore God *the 'father'* will never be seen as this is the posistion of christianity, both protestant and catholic forms.
However the Lord has stated in the Quran
AND TO THOSE WHO HAVE GOOD IHSAAN IS GOODNESS AND SOMETHING ADDITIONAL.
surah yunus 10:26
the Prophet Muhammad said about this verse:
"the veil will be removed and they will gaze at Him. nothing that He has bestowed on them will be dearer to them than gazing at Him. and that is something additional
{collected by imams at-tirmidhi, Ibn Majaah, ad-daaraqutni and Ahmad}
On the fay that faces will be radiant, gazing at their Lord. 75:22-23
For those that had seen Christ when he was alive , it will be no big deal to see him again, as they saw him at the transfiguration as well as when he was resserected in his glorified body. so how could this be a reward ? dont you as a christian want to see God the 'father' who sent Jesus into the world , the same who spoke to Adam in paradise, gave Moses the Torah and gave other prophets their revelations?
