Zoroastrianism and Judaism are two very seperate religious traditions, they're not from the same source.
see, until you really read what I wrote I won't bother myself with you no more. You don't read man. I didn't say they were from the same source, I said it might be possible. Also, I said that resurrection, heaven and hell...etc have been adopted into the jewish faith after Cyrus.
The Zoroastrian concept of the ressurection of the dead came up in later writings. It could have been influenced by Christianity.
That's not true, see this is what happens when you just post a link from a site and never fully understand what you're reading.
For the millionth time, Christianity did not borrow any things from any mystery cults. And Jesus's crucifixion is supported by many reliable early historical sources.
O ya?
There is no reference to Jesus' death having any redeeming function; in fact, there is no mention of the crucifixion at all. John E. Remsburg's The Christ: A Critical Review and Analysis of the Evidence of His Existence, lists the following writers who lived during the time, or within a century after the time, that Jesus is supposed to have lived:
Josephus
Philo-Judææus
Seneca
Pliny Elder
Arrian
Petronius
Dion Pruseus
Paterculus
Suetonius
Juvenal
Martial
Persius
Plutarch
Pliny Younger
Tacitus
Justus of Tiberius
Apollonius
Quintilian
Lucanus
Epictetus
Hermogones Silius Italicus
Statius
Ptolemy
Appian
Phlegon
Phæædrus
Valerius Maximus
Lucian
Pausanias
Florus Lucius
Quintius Curtius
Aulus Gellius
Dio Chrysostom
Columella
Valerius Flaccus
Damis
Favorinus
Lysias
Pomponius Mela
Appion of Alexandria
Theon of Smyrna , THERE IS MORE ACTUALLY, i DIDN'T COPY ALL OF THEM
Enough of the writings of the authors named in the foregoing list remains to form a library. Yet in this mass of Jewish and Pagan literature, according to Remsburg, "aside from two forged passages in the works of a Jewish author, and two disputed passages in the works of Roman writers, there is to be found no mention of Jesus Christ." Nor, do any of these authors make note of the Disciples or Apostles -- increasing the embarrassment from the silence of history concerning the foundation of Christianity.
No, God wouldn't give two seperate sets of Laws
this is due to your misunderstading of the bible only. Jewish people recorded the history of their prophets, others didn't. Why deprive other nations from knwing God. God has sent many other prophets which we don't know of. Some of these prophets mentioned in the Quran: SAleh, Shu'aib, and I think another four more.
TO end this, Ahura MAzda means :the creator of all (I think). If that prophet was sincere and was truly a prophet then he is speaking of the same God as the jewish people.
Jonah was sent to the Assyrians so they can repent==> God wanted other nations to repent before Jesus. It doesn't matter what nationality the prophet is what matters is to whom the message is directed==>that's my point. And since God's message was revealed to other nations(assyrians for example) then it would make sense to believe that other prophets which we don't know of existed and delivered the message of God. Yes, Jews were the chosen people of God, but that doesn't mean God didn't send prophets to other nations.
