ArchivedThe Quran borrows many things from many sources.Letme set this straight, does that mean that if these people were inspired it is still the word of God? It can be found in one for the letters, I'm just too lazy to look for it this late, maybe tomorrow, but anyway. Is his opinion the word of God?In other words if he said he was purely giving his opinion why do you then include it in the Book of God as the word of God? A simple conclusion==>not everthing in the bible is the word of God then. The Hadiths are not included in the Quran. They were written hundreds of yers after Muhammad's death just like in the case of the Gospels. That's why alot of the Hadiths are not authentic. Muhammad's language was way different from the Quran's langauge which is another proof Muhammad didn't write the Quran. Of course you can't. Zoroastrian creed is way too corrupted and whatever exists today isn't close to what he really said. My assumption is taht he might have borrowed it from other religions (true religions) or was a true prophet in which if it existed in the Islam and Judaism then it should be no problem.
He was not. It is actually. I have read this from many jewish scholars writings including my Jewish teacher.
You can believe in it anyway you want to, but it makes sense to believe that God revealed himself to many nations from the wrong path. Thousands of years before Jesus and God only revealed himself to the Jews only? God sent many prophets to many other nations to show them the right path and stay away from worshipping stones. This is where we differ. You believe that no other nation was to be given the blssings of God other than the Jews at that time. Well many stories in the bible suggest that God wanted other nations to belong to the right path just like the Assyrians. That is one story, many others exist. Again, it makes more sense if God is to reveal himself to other nations far in Asia and Africa. He sent prophets to them and he kept sending prophets to all nations. That is the reason why many religions have many similarities. Of course they were corrupted afterwards but they still carried some similarities. You see my point here? How many trips did muhammad have when he was an adult? 1 How old was he? in his 20's When did he start receiving revealation? 40 Muhammad had no contact with the world outside Mecca. He could never know any of these stories. He used to be asked on a daily basis about many things and used to answer them correctly at the same time. There was no one to guide him and tell him what to say. This is the truth, not what those ignorant christian scholars tell you. And why do you deem it as heretical when it could be not. Justy because scholars didn't believe in them doesn't mean they are not true. As you know your christian scholars are still disagreeing until today on countless passeges in the bible. Is it heretical? Again, you just proved your ignorance about the Quran. It has been shown to you that it's not what the passgae said. For your convenience I will give you the links below and see that is not true: http://www.understanding-islam.org/rela ... le&aid=102 |
