ArchivedOccult Numerology In The Quran...?Matthew 5:44 - "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you" I showed you a simple calculation to get the number 666 as is done in the Occult world, i didn't go around multiplying and breaking apart numbers, that gets a bit too weird because with that you can make out pretty much any thing you like. That brings about something interesting however ... The new testament was written in Greek and Jesus's name is mentioned in the form of the word "Jesus" only in the N.T. so if we convert Jesus's name in greek it is Iesous. The numerical value of Iesous is ... 10 + 8 +200 +70 +400 +200 = 888 Amazing isn't it? the Prediction of Jesus's resurrection? In Gematria ... the number "8" is the number of new beginning or resurrection. Jesus rose on the first day of the next week ... there are "7" days in a week, and he ressurected on the 1st day of the next week ... if we do the simple sum 7 + 1 we get 8. Again we land on the number 8 and Jesus's name in Greek Gematria equals 888? I find this quite amazing. 8 is not present in the number 888 once, but "three" times, notice also that Jesus resurrected on the "third" day. Quote from http://www.practiseislam.com/articles/quran.html "Al-Quran is divided into thirty equal divisions, which are called "juz" in Arabic. There are 114 chapters, of varying length. The longest chapter is Al-Baqarah consisting of 286 verses and the shortest chapter us Al-Kawthar consisting of three verses only. The whole Quran has 6,666 verses containing 336,233 letters."
