Sun Tzu wrote:you have answered my question, but you have only done so by quoting PAUL. i ask you to quote using Scripture of PROPHETS not of a self-appointed "Apostle" who was formerly a criminal, who was a collaborator with the Herodians, and did not deny claims that he was a god.
You want Scriptures of Prophets? Okay, since you view Matthew as the Scripture of Prophets, you will find some of your answers in John:
John 17:20-23
20 "I do not ask in behalf of these alone, but for those also who believe in Me through their word; 21 that they may all be one; even as Thou, Father, art in Me, and I in Thee, that they also may be in Us; that the world may believe that Thou didst send Me. 22 "And the glory which Thou hast given Me I have given to them; that they may be one, just as We are one; 23 I in them, and Thou in Me, that they may be perfected in unity, that the world may know that Thou didst send Me, and didst love them, even as Thou didst love Me. NAS
In Galatians 2:20 Paul is simply stating that we, as His disciples, are crucified with Him, that is not to say we are physically on the cross with Jesus we are the vicarious beneficiaries of His sacrificial death that atoned for our sins.
First and foremost, you are misrepresenting what Paul said. He did not say "The Torah does not apply to non-Jews" he said:
"The former regulation is set aside because it was weak and useless (for the Torah made nothing perfect), and a better hope is introduced, by which we draw near to God." Hebrews 7:18-19
I did not post that Paul said that the Torah does not apply to non-Jews, I posted “remember the Torah was given to the Sons of Israel and does not apply to non-Jews”. The Scripture you are quoting is from a book written specifically to Hebrew believers. So Paul is explaining to those under the Torah (The Sons of Israel) why it no longer applies.
Paul is saying Jew or Non-Jew, the Torah had been ABROGATED, SET ASIDE by the very man who claimed he came NOT to do such a thing!
Answer that FIRST Nevertheless, beyond that Non-Jews had been under the Noachide Laws for almost 5,000 years!
You ask me to prove my belief that Paul is not the anti-Christ through Scriptures of the Prophets and then appeal to the Noachide Laws, which are interpretations of the Torah by rabbi’s and can not be found anywhere in the writings of any prophet. What did Jesus have to say about the traditional interpretations of the Pharisees?
Matthew 23
1 Then Jesus spoke to the multitudes and to His disciples, 2 saying, "The scribes and the Pharisees have seated themselves in the chair of Moses; 3 therefore all that they tell you, do and observe, but do not do according to their deeds; for they say things, and do not do them. 4 "And they tie up heavy loads, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves are unwilling to move them with so much as a finger. 5 "But they do all their deeds to be noticed by men; for they broaden their phylacteries, and lengthen the tassels of their garments. 6 "And they love the place of honor at banquets, and the chief seats in the synagogues, 7 and respectful greetings in the market places, and being called by men, Rabbi. 8 "But do not be called Rabbi; for One is your Teacher, and you are all brothers. 9 "And do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven. 10 "And do not be called leaders; for One is your Leader, that is, Christ. 11 "But the greatest among you shall be your servant. 12 "And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled; and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted.
13 "But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you shut off the kingdom of heaven from men; for you do not enter in yourselves, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. 14 ["Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you devour widows' houses, even while for a pretense you make long prayers; therefore you shall receive greater condemnation.]
15 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, because you travel about on sea and land to make one proselyte; and when he becomes one, you make him twice as much a son of hell as yourselves.
16 "Woe to you, blind guides, who say, 'Whoever swears by the temple, that is nothing; but whoever swears by the gold of the temple, he is obligated.' 17 "You fools and blind men; which is more important, the gold, or the temple that sanctified the gold? 18 "And, 'Whoever swears by the altar, that is nothing, but whoever swears by the offering upon it, he is obligated.' 19 "You blind men, which is more important, the offering or the altar that sanctifies the offering? 20 "Therefore he who swears by the altar, swears both by the altar and by everything on it. 21 "And he who swears by the temple, swears both by the temple and by Him who dwells within it. 22 "And he who swears by heaven, swears both by the throne of God and by Him who sits upon it.
23 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you tithe mint and dill and cummin, and have neglected the weightier provisions of the law: justice and mercy and faithfulness; but these are the things you should have done without neglecting the others. 24 "You blind guides, who strain out a gnat and swallow a camel!
25 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but inside they are full of robbery and self-indulgence. 26 "You blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of the cup and of the dish, so that the outside of it may become clean also.
27 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you are like whitewashed tombs which on the outside appear beautiful, but inside they are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness. 28 "Even so you too outwardly appear righteous to men, but inwardly you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.
29 "Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! For you build the tombs of the prophets and adorn the monuments of the righteous, 30 and say,' If we had been living in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partners with them in shedding the blood of the prophets. ' 31 "Consequently you bear witness against yourselves, that you are sons of those who murdered the prophets. 32 "Fill up then the measure of the guilt of your fathers. 33 "You serpents, you brood of vipers, how shall you escape the sentence of hell? 34 "Therefore, behold, I am sending you prophets and wise men and scribes; some of them you will kill and crucify, and some of them you will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city, 35 that upon you may fall the guilt of all the righteous blood shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah, the son of Berechiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. 36 "Truly I say to you, all these things shall come upon this generation.
37 "O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her! How often I wanted to gather your children together, the way a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you were unwilling. 38 "Behold, your house is being left to you desolate! 39 "For I say to you, from now on you shall not see Me until you say, ' Blessed is He who comes in the name of the Lord!'" NAS
Jerusalem was left desolate in 70 A.D.
As far as Yashua/Isa/Jesus coming only to "the children of Isreal" this has been a misunderstanding for years.
What parts of Matthew are you willing to accept?
Matthew 10:5-6
5 These twelve Jesus sent out after instructing them, saying, "Do not go in the way of the Gentiles, and do not enter any city of the Samaritans; 6 but rather go to the lost sheep of the house of Israel. NAS
Matthew 15:24
24 But He answered and said, "I was sent only to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." NAS
The house of Israel are the decedents of his 12 sons.
”Sun Tzu” wrote:If one knows their history, they will see that the whole idea of an ethnic "chosen people" who can claim ownership of jerusalem is a lie. Certainly Moses was a hebrew, as were many of his followers. But when he led 'his people' out of Egypt into Palestine, he was not leading just one racial group out of slavery and into the 'promised land'. Rather, he was leading a whole multitude of races who had come to accept his teaching (and this group included black africans, arabs, asians, europeans that had resided as slaves in Egypt etc.). It is this group that came to be called the Jews.
The Torah makes provisions for foreigners abiding with the Hebrews; so God through Moses makes a distinction. And yes, the Hebrews (Jews) are God’s chosen people:
Deut 7:6-11
6 "For you are a holy people to the LORD your God; the LORD your God has chosen you to be a people for His own possession out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. 7 The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any of the peoples, for you were the fewest of all peoples, 8 but because the LORD loved you and kept the oath which He swore to your forefathers, the LORD brought you out by a mighty hand, and redeemed you from the house of slavery, from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt. 9 Know therefore that the LORD your God, He is God, the faithful God, who keeps His covenant and His lovingkindness to a thousandth generation with those who love Him and keep His commandments; 10 but repays those who hate Him to their faces, to destroy them; He will not delay with him who hates Him, He will repay him to his face. 11 Therefore, you shall keep the commandment and the statutes and the judgments which I am commanding you today, to do them. NAS
As to the ownership of Jerusalem:
Genesis 15:18-21
18 On that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying,
"To your descendants I have given this land,
From the river of Egypt as far as the great river, the river Euphrates:
19 the Kenite and the Kenizzite and the Kadmonite 20 and the Hittite and the Perizzite and the Rephaim 21 and the Amorite and the Canaanite and the Girgashite and the Jebusite. " NAS
From the URL you linked to:
By `Isa Adam Naziri
"In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful: Praise is due to Allah, Who revealed the Book to His servant and did not make in it any crookedness. Rightly directing, that he might give warning of severe punishment from Him and give Good News to the believers who do good that they shall have a goodly reward, abiding in it for ever; And warn those who say: Allah has taken a son. They have no knowledge of it, nor had their fathers; a grievous word it is that comes out of their mouths; they speak nothing but a lie. Then maybe you will kill yourself with grief, sorrowing after them, if they do not believe in this announcement. Surely We have made whatever is on the earth an embellishment for it, so that We may try them (as to) which of them is best in works. And most surely We will make what is on it bare ground without herbage. Or, do you think that the People of the Cave and the Inscription were of Our wonderful signs? When the youths sought refuge in the cave, they said: Our Lord! grant us mercy from You, and provide for us a right course in our affair." Al-Qur'an, Sura Al-Kahf 18:1-10
Do you accept the prophecies found in Psalms?
Psalms 2:7
7 "I will surely tell of the decree of the LORD:
He said to Me, 'Thou art My Son,
Today I have begotten Thee. NAS
Back to Paul, he never claimed to be a or the Messiah. He called himself an Apostle, and Peter viewed Paul's writings as equal to the Torah and the Prophets (2 Peter 3:15-17).
Paul is the only NT writer with a classical Hebrew education and knew tha Torah and the Talmud much better than the other apostles, so his credentials are impeccible. Paul is not the one who called followers of Christ Christians.
Acts 11:26
26 and when he had found him, he brought him to Antioch. And it came about that for an entire year they met with the church, and taught considerable numbers; and the disciples were first called Christians in Antioch. NAS
Luke records that the apostles in Antioch were called Christians, without identifying who originally applied this label to them.
