ArchivedAngel Gabriel ... Or Fallen Angel?According to Christianity, which came first (may I add) Jesus never said Muhammed was going to come, and according to the gospels nowhere is Muhammed prophesied. I can start a new religion today and mix up scriptures from the Bible and say I was prophesied in it. If you are going to say the gospels are corrupted, then how would we know that Muhammed was really prophesied? If you are going to say the gospels are not corrupted, then you will know Muhammed was not prophesied. Either way, you lose. I don't think anyone who wants to know the truth will agree that Muhammed was given the final revelation. In the book of Revelation in the Bible, that's where everything ends. It makes that claim itself. The Book of Revelation involves the work of the gospel, but in an eschatological way. How then can the Qu'ran claim to be the final revelation, when the Revelation of the Bible claims to be the final revelation? Christianity was the first to talk about the Holy Spirit, the Anti-Christ and what shall happen in the last days. Then all of a sudden the Qu'ran does the samething, but changes a few things which was first revealed in Christianity. Now, I don't know what kind of a "God" works that way, but I sure know it is not the real God. |
