1 Timothy 3:16 - And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.
The above verse clearly states that Jesus is God, furthermore it says the mystery of it is GREAT, and that is why all muslims fail to realize His deity.
The mystery of it cannot be truly revealed without the Holy Spirit.
Colossians 2:9 - For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.
This also states that the Full Spirit of God dwells in Christ.
Zechariah 14:9 - And the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one LORD, and his name one.
And compare to:Revelation 11:15 - And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
Both state that the Lord shall be ruler over the whole earth and that there is only One Lord and His name is Christ.
If Jesus went around telling others that,"Hi I am God worship me" and to his disciples I am the God that your fathers worshiped that not only would show that He lacked humility especially when being in the Flesh and not as an omnipresent Spirit. The very fact that He is called a servant at times is to show that He was not only obedient but humble as well.
Furthermore the words that He spoke clearly says that He is God, but it could not be understood if not understood by the Spiritually, that pointed out the spiritual blindness within those that crucified him and the disciples as well for a while until their spiritual eyes were opened.
It is clearly written:These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time cometh, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall shew you plainly of the Father. At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you: For the Father himself loveth you, because ye have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speakest thou plainly, and speakest no proverb. Now are we sure that thou knowest all things, and needest not that any man should ask thee: by this we believe that thou camest forth from God. Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe? John 16:25-31
