The Pope IS a Christian.
Why? If you say the Pope is not a Christian then you are saying Catholics are not Christians! What Is a Christian?
A Christian IS:
Someone who follows and believes in the fundamental Christian teachings.
1 Baptism.
2 Jesus Is Lord.
3 Jesus died to save us from Original Sin.
4 Bible Is Gods Word.
5 belief in the Ressurection of Christ.
These are all Christian fundamental issues.
So I ask you what makes a Christian a Christian? or who in your opinion is a Christian?
I cannot believe that you are trying to say the Pope is the Anti Christ, that is absurd. You must belong to the Seven day adventist Church, which is extremely Anti Catholic.
Because the Pope carrys a "bent" crucifix doesnt mean anything.
The sign of Satanism or the anti christ is a man made symbol of the cross upsides down.
The throne of the Pope does NOT have a upside down cross. What about all the priests and bishops and cardinals and nuns and people on TV watching would see it then what would happen? be realistic. Most people know the meaning of the upside down cross. They wouldnt risk it.
Yes the Pope kissed the Quran. Why?
Because he did it and I quote "As a mark of RESPECT" nothing more, nothing less. Would you ever see a Muslim doing that to a Bible? I havent seen one.
Did the Pope really receive the Mark Of Shiva?
Lets take a deeper look. There is a photo of the Pope having his head anointed by an Indian Catholic women, not a Hindu priestess! she was giving a traditional form of greeting known as the 'Aarti', which has no more religious significance then a handshake in western culture or giving someone a wreath of flowrs as a welcome from Hawaii.
A letter dated November 22, 1994 from the Pontifical council for social communications explains the custom and its role in Indian society.
" ' Indian Catholics use...'Aarti' when a child returns home after First Holy Communion, and when a newly married couple are recieved by their respective families. Nowadays ,'Aarti' is often performed to greet the principal celebrant at a liturgical event, as it was on the occasion shown in the photograph. On such occasions, 'Aarti' is offered by a Catholic married lady, and certainly not by a "priestess of Shiva", as has been alleged.'
" The letter, by Archbishop John P. Foley, president of pontifical council, went on to note: ' The use of "Aarti" ceremonial by Indian Catholics is no more the worship of heathen deity than is the decoration of the christmas tree by American Chritians a return to the pagan rituals of Northern Europe."
Brother Scorpion please dont post anything about the Roman Catholic Church that you dont fully understand. As a former Hindu I thought you would understand more of what was happening, maybe you are not from India?
