Hello, Omega
There are things that concern me...
I maintain contact with a woman that had a vision about the destruction of NY. She used to live for a while in the USA (I don´t know which part). She is brazilian. It seems she saw many parts of the coast of the USA destroyed.
Jesus´ words were for people to help each other, to love each other as He loved us. To give our lives to others. So charity and helping are extremely important.
I saw one Adam Sandler movie in which he compares the ways of the NY people and the people in small cities of the USA. In smaller cities, people are warmer, they know each other and help each other. In NY, people are cold and they seldom help others.
I know there are people that are not like this. I also maintain contact with another woman that lives in NY and is not like this. And I´ve seen on TV a neighbourhood in which they decorate and donate money for one charity institution to take care of children.
I could say that NY looks a little like São Paulo, the biggest city of Brazil. I understand that people are extremely stressed, but the poor ones are very solidary and there are many poor people in there.
I read the biography of Mother Teresa and she said NY was the only place in the world where the cab drivers did not give her a free ride.
Rio de Janeiro, the city I live in (with some stuff that I hate, like the sexual perversion, drinking and excesses of carnival and sexual tourism), was elected the most gentle city in the world, for people would help others on the street with extreme good will. People would walk long distances to retrieve a pen that was dropped on the floor. In one message board, a New Yorker was mad because of it and NY was near the bottom of the list. He said it was because NY is the city of "do it yourself" and people are there for struggle. He thought this was good.
You get 9-11 and people would say that they helped each other a lot.
Surely, yes, there is a lot of potential. But it sounds like a reflex for self defense, rather than charity.
If you live for "do it yourself", "And find I´m king of the hill, top of the heap", "if I can make it there, I´d make it anywhere" (which means that is the most difficult place to be successful), you live for competition, for yourself only, in a law that gets more closer to animal kingdom. In competition, there is no place for helping others (save you have a lot of money to do it to say you are a good person), being humble, being altruistic. If money, fame, vanity is what matters, these are worldly things.
These are concepts contrary to what Jesus said.
There is no justification to say that to help others and to make charity you need to have money. I see people in here everyday helping each other and donating easily and many are miserably poor, in ways you don´t even imagine. And they are to the majority not violent (because the percentage of the population in here that has got guns and commits violent crimes is less than 1% of the population) and they despise terminantly war.
I actually don´t know what would make these people in NY to get out of the materialistic way. I think only praying may help these days. Theirs only is their destiny for not suffering destruction.
I´ve seen many prophecies talking about the destruction of NY. Not only this friend of mine has seen it.
So let´s pray.
In Jesus,
Adriana.
