Now, in 2 Chronicles 28:21, it does not say the King of Assyria did not help him because if you read the passages before, he clearly hepled Ahaz. The passge in which you mentioned claims that eventhough Ahaz gave the king of Assyria treasures to help him, he did not help him in the sense of getting rid of his pagan worshipping. After that passage it goes on to show that Ahaz went to Damascus to sacrifice to pagan gods. Instead of seeking God, Ahaz went to pagan gods. |
