ArchivedId like to ask a question to muslims...Bushmaster"I am impressed with how you conjecture and how you use the BIBLE to make your point extensively!!!!....
Thankyou
Too bad you can't give us this description from the Quran, because it has no clue as to what happened!
Too bad, but inshallah I will try to update you later.
“AND WHEN SABBATH WAS PAST (SUNDAY MORNNING) MARY MAGDALENE AND MARY THE MOTHER OF JAMES AND SA-LO’ME HAD BOUGHT SWEET SPICES THAT THEY MIGHT COME AND ANOINT (MASSAGE) HIM (JESUS).” Mark 16:1
You only massage an alive person not a body that has gone stiff
Nice conjecture... There is NO massage mentioned... the word is G218 ἀλείφω aleiphō al-i'-fo From G1 (as a particle of union) and the base of G3045; to oil (with perfume): - anoint. How familiar are you with Jewish tradition? I thought so!
Let see how old was the body when Mary reaches the tomb, three O'clock friday after noon "9th Hour" he was taken off the cross, so his body was kept most of the friday afternoon, friday nite, saturday whole day, saturday whole nite and sunday morning, now this tomb was outside the city limits about five miles, even if Mary rode an ass and started after sunrise, she would reach the place around 8 am sunday mornning which I doubt, it must be later than this, but we will take 8am as sunday morning.
Question: do jews message their dead, I dont think so. If Jesus is dead, then ask any doctor that within 3 hours "RIGOR MORTIS" sets in (stiffening of the body) by early sunday morning the body would in state of decomposing, so she want to rub fragrant oil on his dead body she would be peeling shin and flesh from Jesus body.
If resurrection was spiritual then why remove the stone and unwrap the body and where was the body itself.
Who said resurrection was spiritual?
Jesus is not dead he is alive he still some where there on the property, He approaches Mary from behind and bible says,
For He is risen, Hallelujah!
You Just negated your own Bible, if Jesus was not physicaly dead when mary arrived than according to bible he could not have died again after been "RESURRECTED" from dead
".........it is ordained unto all men ONCE to die and after that the judgement." book of hebrew 9:27
“WOMEN WHY WEEPEST THOU? WHOM SEEKEST THOU?” John 20:15
And Mary replies and bible says,
“SIR, IF YOU HAVE TAKEN HIM HENCE, TELL ME WHERE HAVE YOU LAID HIM.” John 20:15
Here she does not ask where you have buried him and continues,
“SO THAT I MIGHT TAKE HIM AWAY” John 20:15
Nonsense! Let's use some context a'ight?
But Mary stood outside of the tomb, weeping. And as she wept, she stooped down into the tomb. And she saw two angels in white sitting there, the one at the head and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain. And they said to her, Woman, why do you weep? She said to them, Because they have taken away my Lord, and I do not know where they have laid Him. And when she had said this, she turned backward and saw Jesus standing, but she did not know that it was Jesus. Jesus said to her, Woman, why do you weep? Whom do you seek? Supposing Him to be thegardener, she said to Him, Sir, if you have carried Him away from here, tell me where you have laid Him and I will take Him away. Jesus said to her, Mary! She turned herself and said to Him, Rabboni! (which is to say, Master!) (Joh 20:11-16 MKJV)
she supposing him to be the gardener ; that had the care of the garden, in which the sepulchre was; for not the owner of the garden, who was Joseph, but the keeper of it is meant; she could not imagine that Joseph should be there so early in the morning, but might reasonably think the gardener was:
saith unto him, Sir, if thou have borne him hence, tell me where thou hast laid him, and I will take him away; she addresses him, though she took him to be but the gardener , in a very civil and courteous manner; which was rightly judged, especially since she had a favour to ask of him: she does not mention the name of her Lord, but imagined he knew who she meant, being so lately buried there; and suggests, that perhaps it might not have been so agreeable to the gardener to have his body lie there, and therefore had removed it; and would he but be so kind as to let her know where he was put, she, with the assistance of her friends close by, would take him away with them: so in a spiritual sense, a truly gracious soul is willing to do anything, and to be at any trouble, so that it may but enjoy Christ; it dearly loves him, as this good woman did; it early, and earnestly, and with its whole heart, seeks after him, as she did; and absence of him, or loss of his presence for a while, sharpens the desire after him, and makes his presence the more welcome.
Now as per Christian claim Jesus was resurrected, then Why does "Mary" mistake Jesus as a gardner, over and over you have stated in you response, why does a dead man need to conceal his identity, why?
You can not kill a dead man twice, if not then Jesus never died. And if he is in resurrected form then no harm can come to him as he is now in Open as a "GOD" .
“ TOUCH ME NOT” John 20:17
Why does Jesus say this its because his body is sore from being on cross and he was attended by his two secret disciples and if you remember Mary Magdalene came to the cave to massage Jesus as she brought spices with her, and how Mary knew he was alive, she was among the three who handled the Jesus on Friday when he was being taken off the cross and then Jesus himself declares
“FOR I AM NOT YET ASCENDED UNTO MY FATHER” John 20:17
More nonsense!
Jesus saith unto her, touch me not,.... Not that his body was an aerial one, or a mere "phantom", which could not be touched; the prohibition itself shows the contrary; and besides, Christ's body was afterwards presented to Thomas, to be touched by him, and to be handled by all the disciples; and his feet were held by the women, which is what Mary would have now done: upon the discovery of him, she threw herself at his feet, and was going to embrace and kiss them, to testify her affection and joy, when she is forbid; not as unworthy of the favour, because she sought him among the dead, for which the angels reproved her and the rest; but either because he was not to be conversed with, as before his death, his body being raised immortal and glorious; or rather, because he had an errand to send her on to his disciples, which required haste; nor need she stay now to show her respect to him, since she would have opportunity enough to do that, before his ascension; which though it was to be quickly, yet not directly and immediately; and this seems to be the sense of our Lord's reason:
See you fall in your own trap, Jesus let his disciple touch him but not Mary Why, was it that he was still in pain from three hours on the cross, why would Jesus let his disciples touch him later, as Jesus wanted to prove that he is alive and well and not a "SPIRIT" so not to be scared of him, and then through out this he is eating over and over, would a resurrected person a supernatural "PHENOMENON" feel so hungry? was it that his body was in process of healing and wanted "NOURISHMENT"
for I am not yet ascended to my Father; nor shall I immediately go to him; I shall make some stay upon earth; as he did, forty days before his ascension; when he intimates, she might see him again, and familiarly converse with him; at present he would have her stay no longer with him:
It is another way of saying I am not dead.
