Yes I do have more questions..
Okay, let me start with this. You said that Gods name is at stake when people declar their allegiance to him with bad intentions. But the story still doesnt fit With all I have learned about Jesus, and since Peter is or was his apostle and he has this power through the holy spirit to do miracles. Why would he use this power to take the life of others if his Lord never hurt a fly while he was here on earth. They mocked his Lord, tortured him and all this time he never said a mean or hurtful thing to anyone..How does this fit in with Jesus' teachings? Or if I may ask the question in a different way. In Islam as I have read in other postings on this forum Mohammad killed and he is portrayed as a warrior. And he fought wars to protect himself from people who were trying to kill him. How is this different than protecting what you believe in?
Don't you think this is very parrell or similar historical events in terms of the spirtual concept of each mans actions. Whereas one is portrayed as warrior and the other is a holy man or messenger to spread the word of God...yet both intentions were the same. Could you explain this reason a little more for me?
I read your other answer I do not know if it is just me ..But it really doesnt satisfy me in terms of ultimate justice for the people whom have suffered more than others.
Can I make an example? I am not trying to be dramatic here but I am just trying to make a theoritical situation to make a point:
Lets say there is a child whose father and mother was killed by a man. Now the boy grows up in dysfunctional homes, no one loves him/her, he becomes a mentally unstable adult, never knowing God, never fully comprhending the concept because of what happened to him in his life. But the man who killed his parents, repents his sins and trust in Jesus Christ. The boy who is now a man dies without knowing God ...the man who killed his parents gets to know Him and his saved. The boy goes to hell because of that man? Because he took his parents away and messed up his life forever never giving him a chance to know God and love him? Is this fair? Now this child spends eternitity in hell and the man that destroyed his life on earth and after is saved because we all sin? That isnt fair to me, it just doesn't fit.
