ArchivedMuhammads Marriage to his Adopted Sons Wife Zainab EpicHi, Well, the prophet is the one who actually wedded Zainab to Zaid in the first place. Did you know that? Also, to disapprove your claim about this self serving thing: 'A'isha said: Had the Messenger of God been inclined to suppress anything of what was revealed to him, he would surely have suppressed this verse (Bukhari and Muslim). He did not ask Zaid to divorce her but insisted that he stays with her. However as the tradition record, Zaid already divorced even after the prophet asked him not to. How can you then make a conclusion that he causes a divorce? [33] Beyond the categories described to you, you are enjoined from marrying any other women, nor can you substitute a new wife (from the prohibited categories), no matter how much you admire their beauty. You must be content with those already made lawful to you. GOD is watchful over all things. I see how you ignored how the prophet wedded them before and how he insisted that Zaid would remain her husband and not divorce her. Assuming that the Quran is the word of God, why would it then be a problem for God to allow him to marry her if she is divorced and not related to him? Isn't adoption prohibited in Islam in the first place? How could she then a close relative to him? I know we all can't marry our sisters, but let's be honest here. If your father adopts a girl would she then become your sister for real? Is there any blood connection? Actually no. It is the morality of this present time that consider it as gross or whatever but if we want to face reality, she is not a real sister of mine. However, I know this sound general, but we can assume the case where you never really grew up with her. This Muhammad you talked about lived a poor man and died a poor man. You know that. How did he lived an indulged life I don't understand, and if you have read my previous posts about him in http://www.jesus-christ-forums.com/home/viewtopic ... 5&start=20 you would actually see what I'm talking about here. Applying the morality of this century to him is just dumb. Also, I want to go through this double standard again. Do you know the story of David and how he killed for lust? Was he not a prophet of God also? Yes he was a prophet of God as Muhammad was, but here, you use the morality of this century and apply it to Muhammad but on David you don't. Using your own reasoning it is then too obvious that David is not a prophet of God and therefore those Psalms he wrote are just fake You are one of the many people who only look into controversies and never look at the true essence of him. Many recorded material about him speak of his great personality and yet you choose to ignore all of it and pick on this one and declare a self-serving man who seeked power and rich Dom. Maybe lust is one thing but how about hypocrisy? Would you like me to attack Jesus according to what I would see as hypocrisy? Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions ...... Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him Matthew 16 39. Going a little farther, he fell with his face to the ground and prayed, "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me. Yet not as I will, but as you will." . . 42. He went away a second time and prayed, "My Father, if it is not possible for this cup to be taken away unless I drink it, may your will be done." . . 44. So he left them and went away once more and prayed the third time, saying the same thing. Please do not understand this as an attack on Jesus rather than showing the double standards. And what other prophet slept with his daughters? Do you know him? How about you apply the morality of this time to him and declare that God never actually spoke to him and blunder the whole OT? I have answered you fully. Adoption is not allowed in Islam. Inheritance can be given to adopted sons (who are not related to blood). She was not naked as there is no source to that other than the website you copied from. The prophet wedded Zaid and Zainab. The prophet insisted that Zaid do not divorce her but he did anyway. You more than the others should know why the prophet should have no sons also as he never had a son who made it to adulthood. The earliest tradition never record the prophet saying something when he saw her rather than she heard him mumble and did not clearly understand. What they write does not concern me rather than educate me of points of views |
