I suppose that's not the reason I allow you post here for. You start out wrong and continue in the wrong.
Everybody is going to HELL, some faster then others. Those who promote sin, in whatever form, will be in ten times worse shape then the people who actually commits the sin.
Those who don't wish to goto HELL the only way out is Jesus Christ, no other name will get you into heaven. But there are a LOT of tares out there who are not going to get in. They think they are, they speak with love, peace, all the qualities of a great salesmen, but Jesus Christ does not know them!

The one question that you never address is this: In Leviticus there are several things that are identified as abominations. There are rules about no one who is crippled coming to the alter of the Lord. It seems that in Leviticus the writer is saying that the Lord only wants those who appear perfect to come before Him. There are rules about mixing differnt fabrics, about not eating pork, (tell that to the millions who enjoy bacon and eggs, or a bar-b-qued rib) indicating that those are sins. Do you wear clothing of more than one fabric? Do you eat shrimp? Bacon? If you have a pimple, do you avoid talking to the Lord so that you do not offend him? According to Leviticus these are all sins.

repeated just in case you didn't get it the first time!

My point is this.. how can we pick and chose what we want from Leviticus? If one rule is valid, then are they not all valid? And conversely, if one rule is now seen as obsolete, how can we not have a discussion on the topic of whether they are all obsolete? There are rules there that are not in the 10 Commandments. There are rules there that Jesus did not give us. He told us to do unto others as we would have done to us. He told us to love our neighbours.

Jesus Christ never promoted sin, of any kind, in any fashion, PERIOD!

I agree that fornication is a sin. I believe that if people go around having casual sexual relations they are defiling thier bodies. But, if they are in a committed relationship (whether married in court, or church, or by way of their personal committment to each other) they are not fornicating, but coming together in love, which is honoring their spiritual selves, and therefore honoring God.

Do you believe in slavery? Slave owners used Leviticus to justify their actions of keeping African people in slavery. They dehumanized them.
end quote:
There is nothing wrong with slavery! You are a slave right now! Don't beleive me, quit your job, don't work and see if the slave master don't throw you out of the house you live in. We are all slaves to somebody.
BTW the slave masters who mistreated any slave will have to answer for his every crime on judgement day!
BTW I suspect you can not deal with this answer, sorry but the truth hurts!
You know of a man in a book called Jesus, good for you,
but will Jesus know your name to open the door?
Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at Hand!
