bad design issue
In my above response, we see that when we actually look at the design, and the purpose of the design, it is not 'bad' at all. Paleontologist (and I emphasize his field on purpose) Dr. Gould, an icon for evolutionists also offered the panda's thumb to be a 'bad' design. Later an "Animal phyisiologist" rebutted Dr Gould explaining how ingenious the design of this thumb was.
Evolutionist have, for years, been trying to prove that a Creator could not have done such a poor job, only to find, that their assumptions were based in ignorance of what 'good' actually is. Dr Gould was a 'fossil' specialist, not an animal physiologist. He demonstrated his world view in deciding God had 'bad designs' rather than true biological knowledge. Unfortunately, this is very very rampent in science. Richard Dawkins is another good example of this, as see if you actually click on the link I provided above, and read the rebuttal.
