Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy wont Muhammed come back at Judgement? So explain to me how divine attributes and human attributes can co-exist without subjecting the Divine to His own creation and Eternalness and Inequality. I think it will be just like explaining how the square coexists within the circle. I can, but then it is neither a square nor a circle. We've just drawn one shape inside the other. How many sides would you say it has? You've just transposed the two things not made them coexist. So you can with a straight face say that God is not eternal nor omniscient nor omnipotent and has equals and yet is the One True God? I don't think even you believe that. Nice, but "something you sit on" is not a defining attribute of the chair as are Eternality or Omnipotence or Omniscience to God. Only God is Eternal and Omnipotence and Omniscient, but MANY things can be sat on. NOTHING else is Eternal, omnipotent and omniscient but God. You have to choose the defining attributes, not just some adjectives. You have to talk about the attributes that DISTINGUISH the thing from all other things. You should go back and recast your example with a defining attribute of an object, say for example, non-sidedness of a circle and… Bro, first of all there are so many chemical changes happening in your example. The iron is most definitely changing when it interacts with fire, the entire iron matrix is expanding because of it. And fire? Fire isn't even a "thing" it's a series of visible and perpetual free radical reactions. Fire can't exist in a vacuum exactly for that reason. Fire itself is a reaction of different subatomic particles so how can you say that its "essence" is unchanged? It's CONSTANTLY changing, it's a chemical reaction, it can't be contained or preserved or isolated, and it's never the same as it was 1 second ago because it's relying on new particles of air to sustain itself. http://science.howstuffworks.com/fire1.htm Bro listen, you can believe whatever you want to believe, I'm not here to make you feel uncomfortable, Peace |
