There is no Turkey in 15th Century
Yeah thanks, I caught that. But there is a Turkish ethnicity, and I refer to that region as Turkey, not the Republic.
Bull! History tells us clearly Ottoman only converted certain churches into mosques, by your logic they since they had 99%(oh let's not forget the PLUS) muslim population, they should have converted THEM ALL, that didn't happen!
Because then you'd be happier if they'd converted them all?
Oh no, don't use the Turkish Government to make your point, Turkish Government did NOT do any of those! Turkey is a independent secular REPUBLIC, very much like many EU countries or the States, NOT AN ISLAMIC COUNTRY ruled by sharia. Ottoman did all those, 2 different countries, 2 different governments! Again, pick your terms correctly! SECULAR Turkish Republic WAS NOT FOUNDED UNTIL 1923. So-called Armenian Genocide was executed by the VERY MUCH ISLAMIC OTTOMAN GOVERNMENT! Very disgusting and low things but no surprise to see 'em under islamic sharia ...
No, the Turkish government didn't do that, but they're the ones who still deny it was a genocide. And genocide is genocide, regardless of who did it. It goes against the Islamic Sharia obviously and this is something any Muslim will tell you, but it's your secular government that's covering it up, and currently oppressing the Kurds.
Turks (as people not the government) DO NOT acknowledge the Genocide! And the only people (not MOST) who hate the government today are those who wear skullcaps like your kind, because they want an islamic government. MK Ataturk stopped them in their islamic tracks more than 80 years ago.
I'd love to see some stats or polls.
Get closer, don't forget your binoculars this time.
Haha, oh wait, tell me more about what Turks do and don't believe.
Mr. Akcam is convinced the state's resistance to historical dialogue is "not the position of the majority of people in Turkey," he said. He cites a recent survey conducted by scholars that appeared in a Turkish newspaper showing that 61 percent of Turks believe it is time for public discussion of what the survey called the "accusations of genocide."
Peace bro, nice one
