As I stated in another post I cannot translate the Bible as I do not know any Biblical languages. I allow the Bible to explain the Bible while the RCC interprets the Bible and adds meanings to words to establish false doctrine.
You interpretate the bible according to your self interpretation, which is non biblical.

I posted "as if by fire" and not "yet so as through fire". Tell me what difference this makes in the understanding of that verse? I got the KJV and the NAS confused in my memory instead of looking it up. Now since you object to my adding one word without changing the meaning how do you justify adding "purgatory" to "sheol", which does change the meaning of God's word.
I simply thought you was "adding" to Scripture.

That is your opinion.
Protestants have man made traditions too.
Not that I am saying catholics do.
