However, if you want to just talk about the miracles His desciples are "suppose to do" rather than the overall work of preaching the gospel(which is intended anyway), then I can as easily say that Christ is only talking to the apostles in that verse. But then again, I will be like you and I will take verses out of context.
I already gave you an example of what that means: Man may see that things happen by chance, but in reality God is in control. Do not compare man's perspective to God's. You have to remember that the Holy Bible is written by men inspired by the Holy Spirit. God uses man to accomplish His will. A follower of God will say, "The Lord has saith...." A follower of God will not say, "I, the Lord has saith...." |
