Christian/Muslim ThreadsWhy wont Muhammed come back at Judgement?Haha so much for our religious debate. Send me a pm if you want. Not always, there are acts like charity which benefit others and there are ones only between you and God, like prayer and supplication and reciting revelation. But Islam also entreats people to do good for others. Yet this is one aspect of religion, your relationship with others. You are missing your relationship with God and worship and obedience of God's morals and laws in your life. It's not imposed on you, there are simply people who decide they don't want to follow the laws. Actually everyone can do the "good" but many people want to do some "good" but not refrain from doing the "bad" as well. That's why the laws forbid the evil. So you can still do good things because you want to do them, but you should also not do bad things which God has deemed evil. Five prayers is the minimum, and you say many different supplications and verses of the Qur'an in each one. But some people don't have a developed faculty to distinguish between their conscience and their own whims. Some people claim everything is "ok". I think getting married and raising a family is an obligation on anyone who is fit and able to do so. I think the rewards for doing this, and the benefit they do for mankind, is worth much more in the sight of God than any single man could achieve. Peace bro |
