Man, you really lack faith in God, and God protecting His Word.
You cannot be worshipping God if you ultimately doubt Him.
No bro, I don't doubt God, I doubt every other person on the planet claiming that God spoke to them or revealed something to them. When it comes to revelation, you need to bring your evidence.
Well, do they teach and do other stuff? They just sit around all day reciting to themselves?
Obviously they teach other stuff, and there's a teacher teaching proper pronunciation and meaning.
Why five times a day? That is exactly how many tiems a day the Magians prayed. They prayed the same times of the day as you Muslims.
Did "your Lord" command this, or was this concept borrowed from others?
It's five but initially it was 50! Luckily God had mercy on us and it was brought down to five.
See, it would be awful if daily prayers became somewhat legalistic, when people just recite the prayers like it's routine (because it is) and go on their business.
No way bro, and I can't expect you to understand this, but our daily prayers are daily links to God. They are very refreshing and you become closer and closer to God. Most people spend their time debating God on forums and may never know God with certainty. But with humble and sincere prayer, you gain true knowledge of God.
Well, you say: WWJD?
What would Jesus, seeing all the examples of living from the Gospels, have done in this situation?
Give me a situation and test me.
Gay Marriage. I have Christians telling me that "well as long as the gays don't commit adultery and are faithful to each other…" Wow
Marriage REQUIRES that the two people [of the opposite sex] are bonded physically (MUST be mutual and pleasurable sexual relations), mental, and spiritual. Understand?
Oh I understand alright. Which is why I doubt your scenario of two people with zero sex drive ever marrying each other. I can't even imagine that.
Why is Jesus an exception? Did he commit iniquity by not marrying? Would Allah hold that against Him? I would say since Jesus was the Lord, for logical reasons he wouldn't take a human wife.
Obviously not, especially since the circumstances forced him to leave Earth abruptly.
When Jesus comes back from sitting in the Power of God for millenia, He could NEVER take a mortal wife when He returns.
That is a step backwards. If Jesus is taken up by Allah and becomes a spiritual being in heaven like the angels, then later rematerializes into physical form, he isn't going to be just like he was before
He would be too busy saving mankind from the Dajjal anyways.
This is after he saves mankind from the anti-Christ. Also, who said Jesus (pbuh) became a spiritual being like an angel and can't return to earth as a man?
If you were taken into heaven on a chariot of fire (like Elijah) or something like that and you saw the Archangels and Prophets and God Himself on a resplended throne being worshipped by ten-thousand myriad angels and people...and came back to earth. Would he have ANY incentive to take a human wife and a normal life like this?
If you were back on Earth, yes, you'd have to live your life righteously once again until you return to Heaven.
Peace bro
