Science, Creation & EvolutionDinosaurAlright, so I got the exact half-life number wrong for C-14. Regardless, the method is only good for up to 50k to 60k years, which was my main point. I'm curious as to how exactly scientists "know" this for a fact. Is it because everything they've ever tested using these other methods (including more recent samples) has given the correct date, or is it because the dates that these methods give fit nicely into the evolutionary theory of millions of years? |
