Re: Sex for Procreation?
Rom 1:28-32
28 And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, 29 being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, malice; they are gossips, 30 slanderers, haters of God, insolent, arrogant, boastful, inventors of evil, disobedient to parents, 31 without understanding, untrustworthy, unloving, unmerciful; 32 and, although they know the ordinance of God, that those who practice such things are worthy of death, they not only do the same, but also give hearty approval to those who practice them. NAS
Who ever quotes this scripture, and believes that gays should not have the "right" to marry needs to read it again. In verse 28 it says that God gave them over - any "Christian that can walk and chew gum at the same time should know that that means that God is leaving them up to their own devices. If God would wash his hands of folk, or dust his feet on them, who in God greens earth are you that you would take up an issue that God is saying that he is leaving folk alone in their ways? Gays are reprobates, you can preach to them til you are green and blue in the face - they are suppose to feel justified in what ever they do. Consult a reference Bible and look at reprobation quotes: Romans 1:28, 2 Thessalonians 2:10-11
Last thing: John 16:8 says that the Holy Spirit convicts the world of sin - that's right. He is "not" talking about safed folk; he is talking about people that are not saved. If homosexuals are not able to be convicted by the Holy Spirit of their sin - God is harding their heart like Pharoah, end of story. Let them come to God on their own; if they are his sheep they will know his voice (John 10:3), and even if they ignore him on his first calling - the echo will resurface in their minds and they will repent one day; they don't need a zealot reformed homosexual force feeding them "good" ethical principles. And what about the homosexuals that are not his sheep. Well we must really be a nusiance to them. Let them enjoy their lifes, for in their next they will have eternal damnation. Christians are called not to love the world 1 John 2:15-16, reprobates are not giving such admonishment by the lord anymore......end of story.
