Could a 19 year old be ready for any relationship other than God?
As posted by others, you should pray and don't let your flesh get in the way (easier said than done). He may or may not be the one. No one truly knows a person from the inside until you are under the same roof (speaking from experience here). I am not trying to discourage you but this is an issue between you and God. God knows your heart's desires and He knows who your mate is going to be. He already knows your children too.
But let's say that you wanted to further your time with him. He may resist. If he does, please be aware that just because he refrained from starting a relationship with you does NOT mean he is not the right one. It could very well mean that its not the right time. God's timing is always best.
A life long relationship under God's convenant is a major responsibility. Talking to your Father in Heaven will open your eyes to know who is the one...and who is not.
And that you being 24, you have much time to wait on God for your answer.
Meanwhile, continue your fellowship with him as brother/sister in Christ.
Your Brother in Christ,
Eddie
PS: The age may have no barrier to most people. I am 46 and my wife is 51. She still my "Sweet 16 and never been kissed" spouse!
