Christian/Muslim ThreadsIf Islam ruled America...Peace Pub, As a Muslim who has been on this site for a while, and has read works on the concept of trinity, I still don’t understand it. Christians claim they worship the father, the son and the holy ghost. I don’t know about you, but I counted three. Anyways, when Muslims speak on this subject, we explain the Christian perspective as well, and then conclude that you worship three gods. I understand you believe you worship one, but when you discuss the trinity, it sounds more like three. Excuse me, it is not similar at all. Reason being is that Islam does not even refer to this moon god. Where in Islamic texts have you seen this “moon god”? This is complete fabrication. It doesn’t even have a basis. On the other hand, Christians continuously refer to the father, the son and the Holy Ghost. We have a basis for our argument. We count 1, 2 and 3. We do not believe that Christianity is monotheistic. Judaism is much closer. And with you as a catholic, while that’s even worse (no offence ok?). If you disagree with it, then that’s what I mean by “let us talk”. We encourage religious discussions. The prophet used to sit with Christians and Jews to discuss Islam all the time. But missionary workers they go to extraordinary lengths. They twist the verses, make up false hadeeths, and edit works by previous scholars to make it say what they want it to say. And they have no basis for their argument. They could get an ayah, twist to fulfill their purpose. I have seen some of their work. It just makes you wonder “what on earth?” BTW, the best way to spread Islam is through the Muslim. We show Islam through our actions, our character. We do not need to go to door to door and defame Christianity to get people to embrace Islam. If you believe by saying that we are defaming your religion by the “three gods” statement, while I suggest you look to your own religion. This is the message that you’re putting out. Islam doesn’t put out the “moon god”. Christians fabricate that. Notice the difference. Why not? If a Muslim believes that Christianity is the right religion, he/she shouldn’t even think twice. Who is above, God or your family? I have met Muslim reverts, where their Christian families have disowned them, but they didn’t even look back. For them God is more important than their families. Naturally you would be sad, but I take the companions of the prophet as examples. They were being murdered, their families were being murdered but they stood strong because their reward and their love of God proved to be at more worth than worldly things. Btw, these Muslims that become Christians through missionary workers are taken in by them and in most cases, live better lives than their Muslim families. They do not face these problems. And if they do, the missionary workers take care of it. But who asks these Christians about their faith? These people want their food, and Christians use the fact that these people are starving to their advantage. Like I said, you can’t knock back the hand that feeds you. As I have already pointed out, and which you ignored, why aren’t you getting Muslims flooding into your religion in America? You have 6 million Muslims right at your door steps. Instead you go half way a cross the world to target the starving. Like wise! Alright, knock yourself out! Peace and Blessings be to the Believers |
