Christian/Muslim ThreadsIslamic Perspectives of The Death & Return of JesusWhat I think yaa akhi is this. His form of debative litigation was established based on the western main stream belief that focusses primarily on hadith rather than Quran. When he thaught he had it all down packed against muslims he now comes to a HEAD ON COLLISION with something he was not acquainted with.
He had no idea that such a madzhab existed. He has never studied the various islamic schools of thaught, mereless what he studies is based on what other Christian Propaganda says. Now he is seeing a fork in the road in which he now has to try to develop a strategic litegation for this new incounter. He is a hadeeth basher, his whole apparatus is solely more based on hadeeth. Now he assumes we are associated with the Rashad Khalifah movement ie Hadeeth Rejecters, or we belong to some sect. As we said from before Liberate if the Hadeeth contradicts Quran it is automatically rejected even if it is SAHIH. That does not make him or my self and the other millions of muslims out there as "Quran Only Muslim" as you have now tried to sect Label us. Ibn Kathir quotes his superior Ibn Jarir who says "Interpreters have a difference of opinion regarding the meaning of this verse" If they are divided as to its interpretation then the belief of Jesus to return is not "Ijmah" cause there is no where in the Quran that specifically mentions directly or indirectly says that Jesus will return. The Quran in its original text makes it clear "HE DECEASED" in his time he was NOT killed by Crucifixion nor was he killed by his enemies, but by a natural death, and he will be resurrected on the Day of Judgement.
I agree with the scholars who disagree with him. What happen cant you you read and understand ? 8) |
