Archiveda literal hell? i found this article interestingNo, actually that is your opinion about what mine are based on, not something you can say for sure. Any resemblance to preformed systems of belief that I might portray are purely accidental, I assure you. I do not rely on man to give me God's message. I rely on God for that, and that is how I understand it is instructed it must be for each of us. If you think they are based on human logic, then that must mean that God is the divine source behind the human mind as directed by the Spirit, and that would make logic expected, not scorned. Do you think God is not logical? Do you think that the Truth would be illogical? I know there are not that many people who have enough faith in God to put aside man's influence and rely solely on what is revealed to them, in their hearts, by God. That's the only way it happens. Now I realize anyone can say this, but there are certain things which show if this is indeed the case, but those things aren't visible on the internet in this type of setting. You have no knowledge of my life, and how it's lived, my effects on others, and what my daily actions demonstrate to observers. I'm not making any assertions about these things, only saying that you cannot possibly say that you know where I'm coming from as not being scriptural or the Truth just based on the fact that my understanding of scripture doesn't agree with yours. Even so, your methods are not as effective as you think, because the way your beliefs are presented is not a balanced picture of all the aspects of God. I have read many of the posts on this forum, and they are far more negative than positive. No matter if one chooses to believe in a literal hell or not, God is a positive inclusion in anyone's life that truly desires to seek Him. There's no way around that, it's the underlying premise of the whole presence of God in our lives. No, I don't intend to teach anything to anyone, and as for denying the truth, that is definitely not the case. I seek out the Truth, and understand that concept more than you might think, in ways I could not possibly explain to you at this point in our interaction. Certain things must be experienced to be truly known, and the Truth of the Holy Spirit is of that type. Historical and Biblical Christianity, as you put it, are products of man and his social and political agendas. Any thing which puts a human between another human and God in their search for salvation is a stumbling block and interferes in negative ways. You cannot look to another person as interpreter of what God is telling you. You must trust in Him to give you the ability to discern. We can learn from each other, but not from a rigid stance and a narrow inflexible view. I would be totally receptive to any new ideas presented to me, by you or anyone, if they were presented with validity as supported by the Bible. The things you say, and the scriptures you quote are not at all conclusive in regard to your points being valid. Any points you make are not backed by scripture, just bits and pieces, and the rest you fill in with your own personal opinions. |
