Please jump over the previous response because..............
I concede that this practice is against the law, but if a law becomes unenforceable does that mean that the law simply has no authority left and will ultimately be repealed?
Apart from the obvious response that Paul (I believe it was Paul) commands us to obey civil authorities (and breaking the law therefore would be a violation of God's will), are there other directives in the Bible that would stand as counsel against this practice?
For example: There is another Christian in the same office who believes that this practice is a sin (I don't believe he is open-minded enough). If I disagree and continue to do it wouldn't that be a violation in spirit of this scripture?
"But when ye sin so against the brethren, and wound their weak conscience, ye sin against Christ. "
