Late night side bar.

Response: Our quarrel is not with God but with incorrect translations & their consequent incorrect interpretations.
Now, regarding science vs God consider the following:
(1) Jesus according to Matthew stated that the mustard seed was the smallest of seeds, however, orquids have seeds much smaller than mustard seeds.
(2) Jesus, creator of all things, did not know when one of His own creations, a fig tree would bear fruit & mistakenly stretched out his hand to a fig tree but it wasn't the season for figs & apparently a bit grouchy from hunger cursed the fig tree & it died.
Not to question God but rather the human scribes responsible for embellishing Holy Scripture. Even to this day, scholars argue about which book should have or should not have been included in the Bible. As Bishop Spong (Gasp! ) phrased it, “The Bible didn’t drop out of heaven fully written & bound in Moroccan leather.”
BTW, Holy Scripture only identifies the Ten Commandments given to Moses on Mount Sinai by God as being personally authored by God Himself (written by His very finger on the stone tablets) and since none of the 10 contain any prohibitions regarding homosexuality, any other
prohibitions must fall under additional by-laws created by tribal leaders.
Good night.
