What tuppence has been trying to show you by the use of E. coli is that it takes thousands of generation to get a viable mutation and even with a viable mutation the E. coli is still an E. coli.
Science is observation and by observing E. coli or any other animal it can be demonstrated the universe is not old enough to support macroevolution.
That is what is called an hypothesis. And merely the E. coli bacteria not evolving is not proof for that hypothesis.
