Science, Creation & EvolutionAge of the EarthAbout fossils (original text is HERE): I quoted a few little examples of the whole text here. In conclusion, there are 2 ways to determine the age of a fossil. You can look at the layer of earth in which it was found (which is not believed to be a valid method of determing age says Aineo as I understand). OR: You can do a radiometric age dating. For details about this, read the text. I doubt that there is any argument to state that this is not a valid method. About the speed of light I found an interesting article about this on THISpage. Here is a little quote from that page: Auwtch... A christian page that disagrees with your last statement. It completely DENIES that there IS a relation between the velocity of light, and time. Though there is still some debate going on whether or not it does decrease, this is a moot point, since there is no relation... I have scrolled through the other pages, and read a lot of it. I couldn't find a link that suggests lightspeed decreases AND provides some evidence that this would also influence TIME considerably. If anyone remembers the link, would you be so kind as to post it? Thank you. |
