ArchivedMight you be able to become homo?I do not mind people quoting me but I will not stand for people quoting me and then telling me what I think. I know celibate gays who have chosen to live a celibate life; I know gays who are in mongamous long term relationships; I know gays whose only goal in life is to see just how many notches they can put on the headboards of their beds; I treat all of them the same. I do neither demand they accept my religion nor do I demand they cease living their lives as they choose and that includes those whose only goal is to see how many notches they can add to the headboards of the their beds. If there is one thing my atheist father taught me that I have retained all my life it is that "all men are created equal". This is the way he expressed it: "All men are created equal, we all put our pants on one leg at a time." He died before TV commercials that show men putting on their Levi's both legs at a time, but I am sure he could have used that to teach us the same principle. I am not and never have been a racist. And I resent the implication that I am or ever was. You are doing the same thing you accuse us of doing and that is judging people you do not know. And what is your criteria for judging? God only knows it is not truth. Logic and personal experiences do not make you an expert, especially when many of your posts demonstrate a total lack of logic. The only reason I linked you to Homosexuals Opposed to Pride Extremism was to demonstrate that some gays actually use logic. That article is the most logical expression of why gays should accept the real world and not fight for special recognition. I notice you have chosen not to address anything this man had to say but you have chosen to continue your personal attack against me (which violates our posting rules). I am debating a Christian on another message board who has your philosophy and all he has shown me and others is his total lack of understanding not only of the Bible but real life. Oh, the debate has nothing to do with homosexuality it is about how to understand without interpretation what Scripture actually teaches. The Bible is not open to interpretation. Many Christians and non-Christians feely interpret the Bible to establish ignorant stances on lots of issues, not just homosexuality. Let me ask you a question. Do you have a job? Does your job (if you have one) require any special training or education and if it does where did you get your training and education? Unless you are a genius and god (God is the only entity that has all knowledge) you had to read books and seek information from those with greater experience in your line of work than you have. Only a fool thinks he has all the knowledge and experience needed to address all issues without making a mistake and I am no fool. |
