Re:"THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I"
Quote:
"THE FATHER IS GREATER THAN I"
Christian....John 14:28
"Throughout Jesus' earthly ministry he claimed to be subjected to the will of his Father. When speaking to his apostles the night before he was put to death, he said, "You have heard me say to you, I am going away and coming back to you. If you loved me, you would rejoice because I said, I am going to the Father, for my FATHER IS GREATER THAN I." (John 14:2)
...Both of these verses is describing the humanity and limitations of Jesus since The Son became flesh as God incarnate. The Holy Spirit is able to achieve GREATER accomplishments than that of Jesus when He had walked the Earth, this is because The Holy Spirit will be indwelled within ALL BELIEVERS who are scattered throughout the entire world. Jesus in His humanity was limited in the sense that He could not be at mor than one place at a time. This occured when Jesus returned unto the Father. "
In the Name of Allaah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful...
Jesus said..."for my FATHER IS GREATER THAN I." (John 14:2) This is a clear indication that Jesus is not God Almighty who happens to be his Father.... If the Father who is God Almighty is greater than Jesus then how much proof do you need to know that Jesus is not greater than his Father who is God Almighty. Jesus lacked deity in all aspects and Jesus always made himself submissive to His Father's Will. Remember, Jesus was a messenger, man and a prophet along with being the messiah. With this understood its easy to accept Jesus saying His Father is greater than himself this shows humility.
Remember your bible in the OT says...."I, even I, am the LORD; and beside me there is no saviour. (From the King James Version Bible, Isaiah 43:11)"
Jesus is no saviour!!! He's the Messiah and a Prophet of GOD Almighty as we Muslims believe.
"Say: He is God, the One and Only; God, the Eternal, Absolute; He begetteth not, nor is He begotten; And there is none like unto Him. (The Noble Quran, 112:1-4)"
