But the point about the yeast in the lead post was not about that at all, and I can only guess no one here understood what was being referred to. It was about a process that is NOT replication, but about gene duplication -- in other words an extra copy is made. This is one of the primary ways evolutionists think evolution is generated. The fact that yeast are so slow in this area means they simply do not show signs of having evolved at all.
Actually, they're not saying that, it's seems that they're actually pointing out errors in the molecular clock model, at least when applied to the genetic duplication of yeast.
After all, no scientist makes the claim of infallibility (they'd be a fool to do so), it's pointing out that the models they use for determining gene duplication are not complete, or as accurate as the could be...
