Thank you for your clear response and yes, that about sums it up. However the "accountable" part remains an issue when attached with "sin".
In the general epistle of James, he wrote of sin as "to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin." 4 vs 17
If our Lord count sin not against us, then we shall not count it against ourselves. What is the result? That I continue to lie? I do not ask for forgiveness, for I am already naked before him, I hide nothing. He knows my thoughts and my actions. When I am accountable, you are as well. You prove sin is in you by asking for forgiveness of it, while I am under grace knowing that forgiveness has already been implimented once and for all.
I Peter chapter 4...."For the time is come that judgement must begin in the house of God: and if it first begin at us what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God" "And if the righteous scarcely be saved what shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?" I ask you, are you one of the righteous, ungodly or the sinner? If you say you are a sinner saved by grace but continue to acknowledge that sin is in you, then you are sinner still and not righteous. If you say that you are one of the righteous, then you acknowledge that your sins are forgiven you and you are a child of God, set free and apart to learn the things of our Lord and move in him and have your being.
~~~~~*~~~~~ Having a form of godliness but denying the power of such godliness. Its yes or no in the Lord. Man's eye's, his vision and mind can understand only what he has been taught. It would appear odd that we should not examin ourselves but not with a sin detector but with grace and love. I am accountable and my spirit along with the Holy Spirit of my Lord moves in me and I have my being. He searches me daily and speaks to me what I ought to do and that through faith that mercy should have her way. I am not greater than you my sister, but rather I am pouring myself out to tell you to have faith and believe in the things not seen. If you see sin, then you believe in it. I do not see sin neither do I see death, but man sees both and is afraid. I know they exist, but only through this world, not through Christ. I am not apart of this world and I can hear the crys to "crucify him" How dare he think that he is not like us! How dare he set himself up as God and say such blasphemy. I bear the burden with love because I understand the hearts of man. I am accountable to not harm or ridicule for I am the representation of Christ on earth, as are you my dear sister. Shall we not take up the arms of God and move forward. Where is faith justified? Where is the difference? Do you think just because you do good, then you are good. No one is good except in him who died, rose again and saved us from ourselves. Is this not love, to accept our natures in him and to overcome the world with his blood? There is not sin in a saved being that has acknowledged Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour. But if he is weak and returns to his own senses and walks not according to the light of love but in darkness, he too shall not taste of the living waters and become blind as it were to the everlasting truth.
~~* WE ARE THE CHILDREN OF GOD, BORN IN THIS WORLD TO WALK AND PREACH THE GOOD NEWS OF OUR LORD; WE LAY ASIDE ALL MALICE AND JUDGEMENT AND PRESS ONWARD GATHERING TOGETHER THE LOST SHEEP TO THE FATHER OF LIGHT THAT THEY MIGHT ALSO KNOW AND REMEMBER WHERE THEY CAME FROM AND WHO REALLY IS IN THE JUDGEMENT SEAT. *~~ therefore judge not yourself whether it be sin or not, but subject yourself to mercy, knowing you are weak within yourself to understand or comprehend the great mysteries of our Father who through the ages sent his promise to us in the form of a child, born of a virgin to set apart those called according to the measure of goodness the Father has bestowed upon us.
I understand what you are saying, and my heart grieves for I also hear your words of frustration, though at the same time my heart loves even deeper. I know how these died for their faith through love, they held nothing against those who did these things to them for truely, they knew not what they were doing. We speak of truth and truth is not as accepted as fiction for our imaginations are impure without Christ, we have no foundation to stand on. I decrease that he may increase and in him is no sin, and I am one of the righteous set apart to proclaim freedom to the captives. I shall not judge you of sin, for you have done this yourself but you cannot judge me for I do not judge myself ~ there is only one Judge and he sits on the right hand of the Father and he loves me and has told me that I am his even while I yet live in a world that is corruptable. Its a miracle that is only found is humilty submission and love, for no man can do enough good to cleanse himself, not one, no sacrifice big enough that he can conjour to release himself for in the end it will all come back on him and the work is endless. Its yes or no and in that we are all accountable, but I say I am not accountable for sin, for sin has no part in me that Christ may be glorified in this, my flesh, my death, my mortality...cleansed from all unrighteousness, quickend in him for his names sake and not my own ~ Otherwise, people would worship the flesh ~human nature cleansed and not know the truth from where it comes, that we are just as they once were and there is hope for all in our Lord.
Peace be unto you, ~ * ~
