ArchivedPA officials guilty of blatant violation of First AmendmentNarky-McDark how are you, I have a few comments for your last post, I apologize in advance if they upset you, they are not meant to, I would like to provoke a self examination at best. Judging by your method of commenting it seems that this is a proclamation of your beliefs instead of a wise comment intended to wound someone. You wrote-- “unfortunate” why? Us poor Christians, and people of other God loving denominations for that fact, would be so much better off if we lived as you? Should brotherly love, support, and a genuine heart to see God who is love have His will which is complete good and love done on this earth as it is in Heaven be done away with? Would the world truly be better off without fear and love of God? Are you saying that every one who so desires should live by the strong survive, the weak perish, I got mine you get yours, only I am important to me, rules of mind? You wrote-- Have you ever heard of a person who does not drink, in fact despises alcohol in any form going to bar or Pub and ranting and raving because the people inside do not have the same hate for alcohol as he does? Have you ever heard of a person fitting the same mold going public and revealing their conviction about alcohol to any and all that would listen? You wrote-- If you go to a soccer game do you sit on the opposing teams bleachers and cheer for your team? Have you ever been to a sports bar and as the whole bar watched some sporting event stood up and changed the channel to a documentary about the side effects of going without sleep? Have you ever been to a Ford Dealership and complained that they didn’t sale BMWs? My point is that if you come to a Christian support site then you will find Christians supporting one another, in fact you will find Christians who are willing to support as well as possible those who do not yet have faith but are seeking. If on the other hand a person who desires only to argue with some one of a different belief or faith, goes to a site that does not support their beliefs then I would question their motivation. Are they seeking to share truth as they understand it, or simply to argue? What motivates you a non-Christian to post your unbelief in God on a site that is designed to share belief in God? I know this answer I believe, but I would like to read your answer in your words. However the most important comment that I can make is that no matter how hard you fight, no matter how much you reject and no matter how often you proclaim unbelief, God is there, here, everywhere, and He loves you. It is the sin and not the sinner that God despises, and if you hang around long enough reading the words of people filled with faith you will hear Jesus’ knocking gently at the door of your heart also. However God loves you so much that if you prefer eternal separation from your life source then He will allow you to choose that tragic path. The choice is yours, no matter what any of us say or write, your journey and your destination is chosen by you. That is how much God loves you. Even if it causes Him pain and suffering, He is willing to support your free will. Can you say the same? My Friend God loves you, consider that for a moment, Brother Jerry- The Berlin Bear |
