I do, however, understand species, and they actually do have a definition (individuals able to interbreed and produce fertile offspring). If you have an objection to why subtle variation (which you concede does do) will suddenly 'stop' at a predefined 'limit', the Burden of Proof lies squarely on you, espeically considering that variation over large taxonomic groups requires extraordinary amounts of time.
