The Qur'an doesn't just command us to believe in the Injeel and the Torah as they "originally" were.
The Qur'an and Muhammed make their claim to being from God by QUOTING previous scripture.
How can a truthful messenger QUOTE a tampered scripture as a witness to his prophethood?
How can the wod of God (Qur'an??) QUOTE a tampered scripture as a witness to its' truthfullness?
Muhammed did not believe that the previous scripture had been tampered with, what he did teach was that rabbis, priests and whoever else read the scripture, understood the scripture, and kept the knowledge to themselves, only to teach their own doctrines.
Muhammed never once explicity stated that the actual SCRIPTURES had been tampered with.
The scriptures are the same now as they were when he was alive, and even hundreds of ears before him.
Muslims often use Biblical verses to try and prove the prophethood of Muhammed, but at the same time they claim that the Bible has been tampered with.
????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
Since when is it acceptable to prove the prophethood of a person by using a Witness that Allegedly lies half of the time and tells the truth the other half of the time???
According to most Muslims, the Bible lies half of the time and tells the truth the other half of the time.
Hardly a trustworthy witness when it comes to proving someones truthfullness!!!
If you want to use the Bible to prove Muhammeds prophethood you have to accept that it is a trustworthy source...
...but you only accept the Bible as trustworthy when it suits you.
