Science, Creation & EvolutionNoahs Flood is it real, is it global?Since ID is a hypothesis of how diverse life forms came into being your statement is not that of an educator or you would address what “ID scientists” have published.[/quote] What they have published is in popular books and their own magazines. There's nothing wrong with publishing books and self-published magazines, but it's not the same thing as doing science. That's not meant to be stand-offish, it's simply the way modern science works. If perhaps you know of some published ID research that I might have missed, I'd be happy to take a look and make some comments. The most visible of the ID movement are housed in "The Discovery Institute" and at least 2 of those folks have admitted that ID is not a scientific pursuit (as of yet). Now, if the leading proponents of ID are admitting that ID is not science, why should I disagree with them? -E PS: I know this is off-topic, perhaps it belongs in its own thread but since you are the boss and asked the question I hope this won't get deleted as off topic. Let's return this thread to Noah |
